It has to be chanted daily after sunsets starting first time from a Friday , preferably on a crystal quartz (sphatika) rosary for 108 times, children at younger ages can chant it for 12 or 27 times as well. For children in ages when they cannot chant, the parents can energise water by chanting the mantra and dipping their right hand ring finger in the water and making their child drink the water after for protection.
The social life is different nowadays and it is advised for women to chant this mantra for protection before leaving house after sunsets for any kind of social affair such as party, clubbing, night outs etc.
Men & Boys afraid of sexual abuse can also chant this mantra as we live in a very different world today where even males are at harm.
